Boosting your own productivity

Getting more done in the time we have and feeling happy about it is not as complicated as it may sound and only requires a few but practical steps:

  1. Sounds simple but ensure you are sleeping adequately, difficult to say what is right as each person is different. Sleep or lack of it is closely linked to productivity (or lack of it);
  2. Be realistic and prioritise , not everything has to be done right now. Start with what is critical and urgent then what is important and schedule regular time for your own admin;
  3. Do some personal outsourcing. What daily tasks are you carrying out regularly that could be done by someone else? This is not about being lazy or abdicating responsibility but about smart use of time. 
  4. Believe it or not there is a productivity App on iTunes  (Headspace - British app - promotes mindfulness)
